Kristin Griffith (she/her)
LPC-MHSP
I’m a therapist who’s deeply passionate about supporting people as they heal, grow, and build more fulfilling, meaningful lives and relationships. I believe we are relational beings, and therefore, believe much healing occurs within relationships, including the therapeutic one. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel emotionally supported, and explore what’s coming up for you — at your own pace.
I take a compassionate, trauma-informed, and holistic approach to therapy, focusing on emotional safety, self-awareness, and resilience. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, empowered, regulated and connected to yourself and others.
Maybe you’re dealing with anxiety or depression, feeling stuck or disconnected, moving through grief, or carrying the impact of past trauma. Being human means we all face struggle at some point — and sometimes it can feel overwhelming to hold on your own. The good news is, you don’t have to do this alone.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward mental and emotional well-being, and I look forward to meeting you and beginning our work together.
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
I’ve worked across community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, and private practice, primarily supporting individuals and couples from acute crisis through long-term healing. My work with survivors of torture and violence in South Africa deeply shaped my trauma-informed approach, grounded in safety, dignity, and respect for each client’s story. While I’ve enjoyed working with individuals presenting with a variety of issues, my areas of special interest include trauma, grief and loss, relationships, and anxiety. Additionally, much of my practice utilizes EMDR when appropriate and desired by the individual.
EDUCATION
Master of Arts in Professional Psychology - University of Denver
Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Trained in EMDR through EMDRIA / Personal Transformation Institute 2020
HOBBIES
I’ve spent the majority of my life in Utah and Colorado where I lived and breathed all-things-mountains. I still hike, camp, snowboard, run, and play volleyball in my free time whenever I can. I enjoy a good coffee shop, music, watching football, and spending time with those I care about. Additionally, and most importantly, I love spending time with my two little boys, who I learn so much from as I witness them grow, learn, and change. I believe being a mother has impacted my clinical work in amazing ways and has made me a stronger clinician.
